The Borough of Clementon is seeking a Full-Time Superintendent of Public Works. The Superintendent oversees the department’s ten (10) employees, and $1,428,100.00 annual operating budget. The Superintendent shall report directly to the Borough Administrator. The department provides comprehensive services to the borough residents, businesses, and visitors which include capital project engineering and construction, Borough facilities maintenance and repair, Borough fleet management and maintenance, sewer collection, snow removal, solid waste, recycling collection and disposal contract management, stormwater management, road and street maintenance, and water treatment and distribution. The next Superintendent of Public Works will come to the position having already held key positions in similar or larger organizations and shall be well-rounded in multiple areas of public works management, with the ability to comfortably change focus among the individual areas of public works as needs of the department fluctuate over time. The individual must be capable of presenting complex issues, policies, and recommendations of capital projects to the Mayor and Borough Council and effectively engage with the general public. The Superintendent of Public Works must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B in good standings, CPWM, Sewer Collections System Operator License C-2, Water Distribution Operators License W-2, Water Treatment Operators License T-1. The Borough of Clementon, Camden County, is seeking a Part Time (28 Hours Per Week) Clerk/Alternate Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics.

The Borough of Clementon is currently seeking a qualified candidate capable of accurately processing various types of license applications, utility and tax payments, and other clerical duties in accordance with State Statutes and/or Borough Procedures. Salary DOQ and in accordance with the Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Clementon. The candidate must have the ability to serve the members of the public, management and fellow employees in a polite, courteous and professional manner. The ideal candidate shall have a high school diploma, with college experience, municipal employment and CMR certification preferred.
