FALL LEAF COLLECTION SCHEDULE
ZONE I. MONDAY, OCTOBER 20 -FIRST WEEK COLLECTION
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17 -SECOND WEEK COLLECTION
ZONE II. MONDAY, OCTOBER 27 -FIRST WEEK COLLECTION
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24 -SECOND WEEK COLLECTION
ZONE III. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3 -FIRST WEEK COLLECTION
MONDAY, DECEMBER 1 -SECOND WEEK COLLECTION
ZONE IV. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10 -FIRST WEEK COLLECTION
MONDAY, DECEMBER 8 -SECOND WEEK COLLECTION
GUIDELINES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Whenever possible please park vehicles in driveway or off road during the scheduled collection week.
- Please have ALL LEAVES CURBSIDE ON MONDAY of the week assigned to your respective zone. If leaves are not at the curb, and your street is completed, the equipment will not have ample time to revisit the same area more than once.
- There will be no late out collections. If the first week collection is missed, leaves will have to be stored on your property until the next scheduled collection date. This will be strictly enforced.
- Rake leaves to curb line, or place in open bags or containers.
- If placed in open bags please leave a trash can curbside to dispose of emptied bags.
- Keep leaves at least 10 feet away from any storm drain or outfall. (NJDEP Rule).
- Bags should not exceed 50 pounds.
- Please do not place leaves at curb more than One (1) week prior to your scheduled collection date.
Crews may appear in your area prior to the scheduled pickup dates for equipment testing. This will not change your scheduled pickup window. There will be no pickups earlier than scheduled. This equipment maintenance period will allow crews to test equipment as well as comply with the NJDEP’s rules and regulations.
