Court is held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1:00PM.

Please note that cases are subject to change dates and location.

The following matters are heard in Municipal Court:

  • Traffic and parking offenses
  • Quasi-criminal matters
  • Local ordinance violations

Small claims matters are not heard in Municipal Court.

The Clementon Municipal Court hears cases both in person and virtually.

Q. Who do I make my check or money order payable to?
A. Clementon Municipal Court

Q. Should I include my summons or complaint number on my check or money order?
A. Yes, please include your summons or complaint number to insure you receive credit for your payment.

Q. Do you accept credit cards for payment?
The court office does not accept credit cards for payment.  Payments made in person can be cash, check, or money order.

Q. What if my ticket is not paid by the date that appears on the bottom of the ticket?
A. If your ticket is not paid by the due date, a $10.00 late fee may be added.  If your ticket is court required, a failure to appear notice will be sent with another court date.  If you fail to appear or pay by the second due date, a warrant may be issued for contempt.  In addition, the Motor Vehicle Commission may take action to suspend your driving privileges.
