TRANSITION OF POLICE CHIEF

Clementon Borough Press Release:

The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Clementon would like to announce the retirement of Chief Charles Grover from the Clementon Police Department, effective May 1, 2021. Chief Grover has served the Clementon Police Department for more than twenty years, and on behalf of the entire Borough, we would like to express our extreme gratitude for his many years of dedicated service.

The Borough would also like to extend our warmest wishes to Chief Grover and his family, as he enjoys the rewards of retirement.

Sergeant William Boyle was appointed to the title of Acting Chief of Police at the Caucus Meeting of Mayor and Council, held on May 4, 2021.  The Borough Officials extend their congratulations and full support to Acting Chief Boyle as he begins this endeavor. Mayor and Council are extremely confident that he will be successful in this position and expect a flawless transition, with the continuation of the safety of the residents being the top priority.

Congratulations to former Chief Charles Grover and Acting Chief William Boyle on each of their career milestones.
