Earlier this year, a law was passed permitting in-person early voting in New Jersey.

This new option enables all registered voters to cast their ballot in person, using a voting machine, during a
nine-day period prior to Election Day. You can now choose to vote, in person, when it’s most convenient for
your schedule.

The Borough of Clementon is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Code Enforcement Officer Trainee Part Time–  Under direction of the Construction Official, examines properties for their compliance with state, county, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Conducts field work to ensure compliance of code regulations. Consults with owners, and contractors on compliance of properties and  projects and violations. Successful candidate will conduct on-site inspections, investigate reports of potential violations, initiate necessary legal action, prepare required reports, establish and maintain records and files and testify in court when necessary. Requirements include a valid New Jersey Drivers License, computer proficiency, strong communication skills. Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Officer Full Time-  Qualified candidate must have at least one-year experience in municipal inspections or investigations related to violations of and compliance with laws, rules and regulations. NJ Construction Official License Preferred. Must possess a valid driver license in New Jersey. Must have knowledge of municipal rules, regulations, policies, procedures and ordinances. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, reviewing all zoning permit applications, conducting field inspections and special investigations to ensure compliance with various municipal ordinances. Must self initiate and enforce rules and regulations in relation to various municipal ordinances and maintain records, files and reports. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
