 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5, sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Clementon at its offices at 101 Gibbsboro Road, Clementon, New Jersey 08021, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, for the following:

  1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit interest from qualified firms and/or individual to provide professional services for the Borough of Clementon.  A qualified firm and/or individual will be selected through a competitive, quality-based, fair and open process at the sole discretion of the Borough.

 

  1. PROCEDURES FOR RESPONDING TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:

 

 

 

  1. Three (3) copies of the proposal, inclusive of all information required at Section D hereof, should be provided.  Proposals must be submitted to the Borough of Clementon, 101 Gibbsboro Road, Clementon, New Jersey 08021.  Any proposals received after said opening, whether by mail or otherwise, will be deemed non-responsive.  No proposals will be accepted after the date set forth above.  Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the firm or individual submitting the proposal clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.  It is recommended that each proposal package be hand-delivered.  The Borough assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail, or delivery service causing the proposal to be received after the above-referenced due date and time.  Submission by fax, telephone, or email is not permitted.  The final selection shall be made in the sole discretion of the Mayor and Council.

TRICK OR TREATING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2023 FROM 3PM-7PM.

AN 8:30PM CURFEW FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 10/27 THRU 10/30.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT

The Borough of Clementon intends to participate in the Sourcewell National Cooperative Purchasing Contract #113201-OKC, Base Unit #260, to purchase one Pierce Saber 1500 GPM Pumper.

It is the intent of the Borough Administrator to make a contract award to Fire & Safety Services, Ltd., 200 Ryan Street, South Plainfield, NJ, pursuant to the Sourcewell co-op, under Contract #113201-OKC on August 15, 2023. Contract Period begins on or about August 15, 2023 and ends when all goods are satisfactorily received. The Borough of Clementon is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of NJSA 52:34-6.2(b)(3). Comment period ends on August 15, 2023 at 4:00PM.

CCIA HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

HOME IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM (HIP)
ADMINISTERED BY THE CAMDEN COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?————-
Owner-occupants of single family homes who meet the household size
and income limits as published annually by the Department of Housing
& Urban Development Section 8 Income Limits.

WHAT KIND OF REPAIRS CAN BE MADE? ———-
The purpose of the HIP is to preserve Camden County’s housing
stock by upgrading single family dwelling units.
Assistance provided by the program must be used for the correction
of housing code violations which are dangerous or injurious to the
occupants. HIP has established its own rigid specifications for home
repairs which meet or exceed existing housing standards.
Improvements considered as eligible repairs will be determined by
the Inspector at the time of inspection.
Improvements considered to be ordinary repairs, home maintenance, cosmetic in nature, or general property improvements will
NOT be considered eligible repairs under HIP.
